Lund University is the largest institution of research and higher education in Scandinavia. It has eight faculties including engineering, science, law, social sciences, economics, medicine, humanities & theology performing arts and several research centres and specialised schools. It is a research-intensive university with over 3500 active researchers. The University has a significant experience from EU Research and has participated in over 1000 projects over the years. Lund University researchers were involved in 315 FP7 projects, in all areas of research, and coordinated 20 of them. The Department of Sociology of Law is an independent institution within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Today 25 persons are employed at the department. The department runs bachelor studies in sociology of law, runs a criminology program jointly with the department of sociology and runs a master program in sociology of law. Every year, around 175 students finalize their exams in sociology of law. The welfare state and its regulation has traditionally been a key focus of research of the department. Special attention has been given to welfare state institutions within health and social welfare, analysed through the lenses of rights, discrimination, gender, and social norms. Lately, the welfare state approach has been complemented by a special attention to social and legal norms, the plurality of legal cultures and civil society.

ISEK, the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies, is in turn the largest of its kind in Switzerland regarding student enrolment and faculty members. It is a leading academic unit with particular expertise on Asia, with chairs specialising in South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and Central Asia, and thematically on globalisation, processes of economic and social transformation, religion, material culture as well as migration studies. With more than 40 PhD students in anthropology it is one of the largest and most experienced departments worldwide when it comes to graduate teaching and research. This is combined with strong expertise in methodology and theory as well as linkages to national and international organisations of applied research.

The Faculty of Business, management and economics is the largest faculty of the University of Latvia; we offer studies and scientific research in the field of economics, management and public administration, which correspond to the contemporary needs of Latvia, EU and other countries. Currently, the faculty offers 4 programs taught completely in English to applicants from all over the world. University of Latvia is a member of several International projects, networks and programs which offers to student’s different kind of mobility types, study mobility, traineeship mobility research mobility etc. This gives an amazing possibility to our students to gain international study/ work experience during studies. The Faculty of Business, management and economics offer several PhD programmes in English.
Marmara University is one of the oldest educational institutions in Turkey established on in 1883. Today, there are 16 faculties, 9 schools and 11 institutes within the University. Close to 3,000 academic staff and more than 70,000 students are making contributions to Marmara University’s academic activities today, making it one of the most important institutes of higher education in Turkey. Marmara University Political Science and International Relations Department (PSIR), which is one of the major political science and international relations departments in Turkey, offers undergraduate and graduate education at B.A., M.A. and PhD levels. The program consists of inter-disciplinary courses and supervision of dissertations that requires theoretical and analytical originality. It has more than 25 full-time instructors and a rich variety of more than 500 courses supported by members coming from both other universities and other departments of the university. The department works in collaboration with European Union Institute, which enables students to develop their knowledge about EU politics and Turkey-EU Relations. Doctoral students are provided with intellectual depth and the analytical skills that are needed in a constantly changing and contingent academic world.
Charles University was founded in 1348, making it one of the oldest universities in the world. Yet it is also renowned as a modern, dynamic, cosmopolitan and prestigious institution of higher education. It is the largest and most renowned Czech university, and is also the best-rated Czech university according to international rankings. There are currently 17 faculties at the University, plus 3 institutes, 6 other centres of teaching, research, development and other creative activities. The Department of Russian and East European Studies is the leading teaching and research institution in Czech Republic in pursuing the study of Central European, Balkan and Eurasian area. Organizationally, the department is a part of The Institute of International Studies, faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. It conducts an interdisciplinary research of modern history, contemporary politics, international relations, culture and literature of the studied regions. Its members investigate a wide range of research grant projects commissioned by the Czech Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Defense and other government agencies, corporate sector, and NGOs. The department managed several study programs within International Area Studies including Balkan, Eurasian and Central European Studies.
Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) is one of the leading law schools in the Baltics. RGSL has a strong academic reputation in fields such as international and European law, human rights as well as related areas such as law and business, financial law and diplomacy. According to the Development Strategy 2020-2026, RSGL priority research directions are following: public international law, private international law, EU law, international human rights law and legal theory. RGSL has 20 years of experience in the implementation of programmes of legal education through the study direction “Law” and currently offers six accredited master’s and two accredited bachelor’s study programmes. Studies are carried out in English, attracting internationally recognised practitioners and highly qualified teaching staff from Latvia and abroad. In addition to studies, RGSL organizes seminars, conferences, summer schools and continuing legal professional development courses.

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), an acknowledged academic, research, social and cultural centre in Kazakhstan, was founded in 1996. The core reason for establishing this higher education institution was the idea of Eurasian Union. ENU offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in: Engineering, Natural Sciences, Art & Humanities Social Sciences Physical Sciences at 13 faculties. Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is the first international university located in the heart of Central Asia to offer a Western-style education with UK qualifications. WIUT was established in 2002 in partnership with the University of Westminster (UK, London) and the Government of Uzbekistan and was the first university to provide internationally accredited degrees in Central Asia. WIUT is a young university with an established presence and high reputation in Uzbekistan and a growing international reputation. An alumni body of over 2,000, a growing number of employers hiring the students of WIUT, corporate clients and a growing research output can demonstrate the level of success of the university. Ninety percent of WIUT graduates have gained employment within the first six months of graduation.
Khujand Polytechnic Institute of Tajik Technical University (KPITTU) is a young, expanding institution in Tajikistan with great potential for development. Today, it is working resolutely to develop its research, guaranteeing the quality of its operational activities and extending the scope of its international networking. KPITTU is ranked number 1 in Central Asia in the use of Information Technology in Education and it is in the list of few non-corrupt universities of Central Asia according to the United Nations’ report. Learning Management System of KPITTU has received nomination for UN-based World Summit Award – 2013. The institute has national and international accreditation. In 2005, it was first HEI in Tajikistan, who changed its education system to Bologna process (other HEIs have changed from 2010 to 2015). KPITTU infrastructures include 3 campus buildings, 23 study and research labs, Technological park and Centre of Development of Learning Management System.

The agency has served clients such as GALLUP, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EBRD, GTZ, UNDP, UNICEF, IRI, USAID, TACIS, JICA, ILO, IMO, Coca Cola Bishkek Bottlers.
The Academy of the General Prosecutors Office (AGPO) of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in 1992. The Academy is an educational and research institution. The main goal of the Academy is to organize an effective system of training, retraining and advanced training of employees of the prosecutor’s office and other personnel, as well as to conduct fundamental and applied scientific research. Academy conducts: In-service training, retraining and advanced training of personnel of the prosecutorial authorities; Grant based training and contract-based, master’s degree and the issuance of state diplomas; Professional retraining of candidates for positions in the prosecution authorities in the form of primary specialization; Professional retraining of reserve personnel to fill leading positions; Professional development of government officials and organizations on cooperation in the field of crime prevention and combatting crime and corruption under short-term programs; Training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification in accordance with the legislation. The Academy has 7 chairs, 10 departments and 4 centers.
Tebigy Kuwwat Social Unit Enterprise functions in Turkmenistan since 2003 in accordance with the current legislation of Turkmenistan and the State programmes on environment protection. The activities of Tebigy Kuwwat cover the following fields: providing information to State Authorities on environment protection; distribution of the experience in innovative technologies and best practice for sustainable land and water management; participation in ecological and educational projects; rendering of the consulting services in realisation environment protection projects; and development of the potential of local population in environment protection. Tebigy Kuwwat staff members have accumulated a great expertise in the aforementioned fields. In addition, they are regularly involved into the realisation of projects with the UNDP, UNEP, OSCE, Tempus, World Bank, ADB, IDB and others.
